Today. Tomorrow. Tradition.
Dear Saint Mary's Community,
As we joyfully celebrate the 150th anniversary of Saint Mary’s High School, we take a moment to reflect with deep gratitude on the journey that has brought us to this historic milestone. Since our founding in 1876, our mission has remained steadfast: to provide an exceptional Catholic education rooted in faith, scholarship, service, and community.
This anniversary is more than a marker of time—it is a celebration of generations who have shaped and been shaped by Saint Mary’s. We honor the teachers who inspired, the alumni who lead, the families who support, and the students who continue to carry our legacy forward. Through every challenge and triumph, Saint Mary’s has stood as a beacon of faith, tradition and transformation. Today, as we look toward the next 150 years, we reaffirm the values that have sustained us. We are committed to nurturing an environment where every student is known, valued, and encouraged to become a compassionate leader.
We also recognize that our alumni are not only the product of our success but also our future. Their involvement—whether through mentorship, advocacy, or philanthropy—ensures that our school continues to flourish. We need our Ram alumni to reengage with us and help guide and inspire the next generation.
Our enduring traditions, grounded in Catholic values, serve as both a foundation and a compass. In a world that changes rapidly, these traditions offer stability, meaning, and purpose. They remind us of who we are and what we stand for.
As we plan for the future, we are also committed to the principles of sustainability and ensuring that Saint Mary’s remains accessible, innovative, and responsive to the needs of the times. This means investing in our people, our campus, and the faith-centered programs that distinguish us.
The celebration of our 150th anniversary is a powerful reminder that Saint Mary’s is more than a school—it is a family, a community, and a legacy. Thank you for being part of this extraordinary journey. May God continue to bless our school with wisdom, courage, and hope for the years ahead.
Respectfully in the Lord,
Jim Brusa
