Camp SM and Saint Mary's Sports Camp

CAMP SM WILL RETURN THIS SUMMER!
This summer, Saint Mary's High School invites your child to join us again for an unforgettable experience at Camp SM! Designed for students ages 5-11, Camp SM is a series of week-long camps dedicated to giving your child an unforgettable summer! Campers will participate in weekly themed activities including arts & crafts, cooking projects, STEM and of course, each day ends with an hour of swimming in our pool to beat the heat!
Starting June 2nd and running through June 27th, Camp SM promises a summer of fun and growth for just $300 per week. You can also save $200 if you purchase all four sessions for $1000. From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, your child will enjoy exciting activities led by our enthusiastic camp counselors, creating lasting memories with new friends.
Here are some of the camps we have on offer!
Art Camp: Join St. Mary's Art teacher, Jean Aguilar, for lots of creative fun exploring drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques! New projects each week and all supplies are included.
Cheer Camp: Come to cheer camp. You will have fun learning cheers and meeting new friends. Girls will learn cheers, a dance and a half time performance to show their parents.

Theatre Camp: FUN WITH ACTING AND THEATRE GAMES!
Acting is an awesome way to boost self-confidence, improve communication skills, and build your imagination by exploring what it’s like to be another character. Using daily Theatre games and improv, Saint Mary’s Theatre, Director Mr. Kevin Costello will teach the basic skills necessary to shine on any stage. Whether you are a veteran performer, or have never set foot on stage before, this fun and entertaining class is for you! Students can sign up for one week only, or for both offered weeks.

Boys Basketball: St. Mary's Boys Basketball Camp is designed to help individuals who are interested in growing in the sport of basketball. Boys Lacrosse Camp:
Hockey: Give your athlete the opportunity to grow his or her athleticism and game. Multiple modalities that will give them the opportunity for your child to improve their energy systems, hand eye coordination, mobility/agility, strength, flexibility and overall technical hockey ability. The focus of our camp is to provide an opportunity for kids to be able to improve their overall athleticism while working/ improving on the technical parts of their game.
Domenic Pittis joined SMHS in 2021, where he serves as the Hockey Director, as well as the Head Coach for the boys and girls varsity teams. Before joining SMHS, Coach Pittis was part of the Calgary Flames organization for eight seasons. Bob Hartley, former Head Coach of the Flames, brought him back to North America as the Flames Skills and Development Coach in 2013. In 2015, he moved into the position of Assistant Coach for the Stockton Heat of the AHL. Coach Pittis, a Calgary, Alberta native had a pro career spanning 19-years, over 1200 games and over two continents. He played 86 NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabers, Edmonton Oilers, and Nashville Predators and is also a 309 game AHL alum, scoring 109 goals and 342 points. During the 1998-99 season with the Rochester Americans, he scored 38 goals and 104 points, winning the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the AHL's leading scorer. In 2004-05, Coach Pittis went to Switzerland where he won two league championships, a Champions Hockey League Championship, and at the international level, won a Spengler Cup while representing Team Canada. Under Coach Pittis' tutelage, he has helped Markus Granlund, Derek Grant, Garnet Hathaway, Kenny Agostino, Freddie Hamilton, Hunter Shinkaruk, Emile Poirier, Drew Shore, Turner Elson, Linden Vey, Mark Jankowski, Andrew Mangiapane, Ryan Lomberg, Spencer Foo, Dillon Dube, and Curtis Lazar move from the AHL to the Calgary Flames.
